About Globe Excellence Awards

The Globe Excellence Awards celebrate the achievements of everyone worldwide behind the year’s most outstanding initiatives.

This annual awards program celebrates the individuals and teams who set industry benchmarks for excellence. All organizations private or public, corporations, nonprofits, associations, vendors and government organizations worldwide are eligible to enter. Categories for the Globe Excellence Awards have been updated.

The Globe Excellence Awards aim to highlight and reward excellence across the private and public sectors to help you become even more successful. The following research findings highlight some of the benefits award winners enjoy.

Large award-winning companies experienced a 48% increase in operating income and a 37% growth in sales when compared to non-award winners. Smaller award-winning companies were also shown to have experienced a 63% increase in operating income, and a 39% growth in sales when compared to non-winners.

A study compared the financial performance of 120 award-winning companies across Europe that met specific criteria against comparison companies of a similar size and operating in the same industries. The financial performance was tracked over 11 years. The study found that the award-winning companies showed improvements in financial performance after just a year of winning their first award.

Three years after receiving an award, the 120 award-winning companies outperformed the comparison companies by an average of 17% for sales and 36% for share value. During the final year that performance was tracked, the award-winning companies experienced even greater increases as compared to comparison companies with sales growing by an average of 77% more and operating income by 18% more.

ONES TO WATCH STAGE 1
Ones To Watch
Our research team undertake the research, analysis and verification work to compile and select the Ones to Watch list. If you have put yourself forward, you will be asked to complete a short entry form, which will take no more than one hour to complete.
NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL WINNERS STAGE 2
National Or International Winners
To be selected as a National or International Winner, our researchers gather the additional information. At this stage you will have to confirm that you are happy to be considered for selection as a National or international Winner and that you are prepared to participate fully in the judging process that selects the Globe Excellence Awards winners in the 3rd stage of the competition.

Awards Category Winners
As a National or International Winner, we will require you to complete a questionnaire which will provide the judges with more detail on how you have built such a successful business. To represent your country and compete as a National or international Winner you will also need to commit that you will send at least one senior representative of the company to participate in the Judging Event session, judges will speak to all of the finalists (National / International Winners) in the category.
The Awards process is simple, and we guarantee that any effort you put into the Awards will be vastly outweighed by the Endorsement, Exposure and Relationships the Awards bring.

RULES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION

1.Entry Fees
All entry fees must be paid in US$ only via the online or Hardcopy submission forms. Entry fees may differ per category and will gradually increase with approaching deadlines. A late fee will automatically be charged for all late submissions received after the final submission date. No refunds will be made once entries have been submitted and an official receipt automatically issued through the submission system.

2.Eligibility
All for profit and non-profit organizations and their public relation agencies from all over the world are eligible to submit entries.

3.Language
All entries must be submitted in English language only. We cannot accept entries in any other languages.

4.Final Decision
In the event of a dispute as to the category in which an entry(s) will be judged, the decision of the BWIO staff will prevail. Judges may recommend that an entry be switched to a different category, and at their discretion BWIO staff may change an entry’s category.

5.Disposition of Submitted Materials
Any offline materials submitted as part of your entries will not be returned, failure to comply with these terms & conditions will render your entries ineligible. It should be online or hardcopy submission no any partly submission will be entertained, and also entry fees will not be refunded.

The Awards will publish a “Ones to Watch” list for each country that has competing businesses. every business will need to demonstrate the core principles of the awards: success, innovation and ethics as well as exemplary performance in each awards category.

STAGE 2: NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL WINNERS
For the Ones to Watch competing to become national and international winners the deadline for answering all the online information for the judges. national and international winners will be selected by judges to represent their country. The companies that demonstrate exceptional performance in each of the 55 Award categories will be selected to compete in the World finals.

STAGE 3: GLOBE EXCELLENCE AWARDS CATEGORY WINNERS
The national and international winners from each country will come together to compete to win in 1 of the 55 categories in the worlds Final Awards.

The final stage of the judging to win Worlds’ top accolade is undertaken by a panel of fantastic Judges, they read all of the written applications prior to the Judging Event for the category they are going to judge. At the judging event they meet with each of the companies they are judging to ask questions and gain further insight. They log a series of scores for every company. The scores from every Judge are combined to give a result. Those scores are validated by the Chairman of the Judges and his team, and the winner decided.

A: Any executive, entrepreneur, employee, business organization worldwide may be nominated. There are also a number of categories to recognize communications campaigns, marketing campaigns, and media.

A: Yes. The organizers ensure that only authorized judges and globe Awards staff may review entries, and that information about nominees is not released to anyone else without prior approval. Gold globe Award-winning entries will be published, but winners will first be given the opportunity to redact any confidential or other non-public information from winning entries before publication.

A: We expect that more than 25 professionals around the world will participate in the judging process.

A:  100-250 Globe Awards winners will be determined by the number and quality of entries submitted. All Finalists will ultimately be gold, silver or bronze globe Award winners.

COPYRIGHT GUIDELINES

  • What is permissible?
    Winners who pay for the basic Copyright Charges are allowed to use BWIO -INC (USA) & Globe Excellence Awards, Brand Name and Award Logos, Award Title, Award Certificate and Event Pictures only as follows:
  1. Inclusion in the official website, stationery, presentations, brochure.
  2. Inclusion in advertising (web, print, and outdoor) and promotional campaigns (roadshows, canopy activity, exhibitions etc.) Day/Time of advertising in electronic media (TV Channels) must be informed to BWIO-INC at least 24 hours in advance.
  3. Inclusion in PR material (press releases and background material) to be shared with media and reported in print, electronic and/or online media.
  4. The winner is responsible for the usage of only the correct Award Title. The year of winning the award has to be mentioned in all advertising and PR material.
  5. It is requested but is in no way compulsory, that a scanned copy of any paid advertisements or media coverage published in newspapers, magazines and any other print media is intimated through an email to BWIO INC(USA) & Globe Excellence Awards. Your help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
  • What is not permissible?
  1. BWIO INC(USA) & Globe Excellence Awards Brand Name and SYMBOLS like Award Logos, Award Title, Award Certificate and Event Pictures are copyright properties of BWIO INC (USA) and shall not be used on any product packaging or material.
  2. Further, no photograph or drawing that includes a reproduction of any such copyright symbols, may be used on, as part of, or affixed to any item/product that’s sold to the public.
  3. No change in the fonts, graphics used in the Award Logos and Certificate is to be made. Size of the logos may be adjusted as per the Aspect Ratio but color may only be used as provided.

PARTICIPATION FEE CHARGES

Participation Fee includes awards ceremony attendance fee, Limited Copyright License for commercial usage of intellectual properties, including but not limited to logos, GEA pictures, videos etc., related to the BWIO INC (USA) Award ceremony or those belonging to BWIO INC(USA).

Advertising Rights
  • Permission for the usage of the Event pictures and Video(s) on official and third-party website(s) like YouTube, Facebook and stationery including letterheads, presentations and brochures among other things as per the official Limited Copyright License Rules and Regulations.
  • Copyrights Permission for usage of the Award Certificate, Award Logos, Event Pictures in advertising campaigns (web, print and outdoor) and promotional campaigns (road shows, canopy activity, exhibitions etc.)
